New Freewheel page! Heroes Con details!

The Contessa speaks only in cursive. If you want to find out how that sounds, well… I can’t help you. Just imagine the most soothing, calming voice you’ve ever heard in your life, times ten. Like ice cream if it was somehow EVEN BETTER.

So today I’m on the road en route to Heroes Con! I’ll be in the Indie Island section at table AA-427 in the back next to my fellow Punchbuggy Players (the actual map is HUGE as it is a huge convention, so this is just the Indie Island section):

Here’s a short list of some stuff that I’ll have on hand:

-FREE Hobo Name Generator! Roll a d20 twice and I’ll give you your hobo name! Comes on a neat “Hello My Name Is…” badge and everything!

-Copies of Freewheel: Volume One, as well as My Brain Hurts volumes 1 & 2!

-Hobo Symbol Button Packs for $5 each!

-Pre-drawn farting superhero sketches for $10 each! (click the link to see all the sketches I’ll have for sale)

-I’ll also be doing sketches on demand! $10 for a small (5.5×7″) or $15 for a large (11×14″) black and white ink and pencil sketch.

-ALSO – be sure and catch the very last ever Punchbuggy Tour performance at 12:30pm on Saturday! Music + comics + Powerpoint = entertainment!

You will also very easily find me at this particular Dairy Queen out by the airport as many nights as I can convince my friends to go with me. I just love the retro 50’s design of the place, combined with the ridiculous phallic ice cream display:

Though this is more what I’ll look like once I get there:

Anyway, Heroes Con is this weekend in Charlotte, NC! You should totally come!

I am still accepting donations to help cover the cost of the new computer I had to buy to replace the one that was smashed irreparably. All donations receive a free desktop wallpaper AND for every $100 I raise, I’ll post a page of a new 13-page Freewheel side story I’ve been working on. It’s called The Raids of ‘65 and covers all kinds of stuff hinted at in the main Freewheel storyline. Check on the progress of the donations at the Fables of Freewheel page. Currently we have only $55 left to raise before the first page is posted! All donations are very much appreciated – give what you wish!

I’m planning on doing a series of these short stories and eventually either making minicomics out of them or collecting them into a book of their own, so even if you don’t donate, they will eventually see the light of day, but not for a very, very long time.

Chart the progress on the brand new Fables of Freewheel page!

Freewheel: Volume One is now available in both standard (unsigned) and Artist Edition (signed with a sketch)! Get it now at the Trading Post! DON’T FORGET, USE THE COUPON CODE COMPUTERDISASTER TO GET 15% OFF EVERYTHING IN THE STORE! I recently had a very expensive accident in which my laptop was smashed and I had to purchase a new computer. Help me not go into further crushing debt by purchasing something from the store!

I love how smug and satisfied Morpheus looks after letting that rip.

I <3 your "Farting Comic Heroes" series.

I totally LOL'd IRL.

I'm so sad I'm missing Heroes this year. Easily the best Con ever. Well. It's between Heroes and ECCC. Dammit, cons are fun.

I'm actually hoping to go to ECCC next year! But we'll see. I've heard good things about it and I love Seattle!
